Sydney Explorer Bus Tours
The Sydney Explorer & The Bondi & Bay Explorer bus services are sightseeing tours operated by Sydney Buses. The buses tour around Sydney's best attractions providing a recorded commentary along the way.
The Sydney Explorer
The red Sydney Explorer buses normally depart from Circular Quay every 15 minutes from 8.40am until 5.25pm. The tours depart daily and follow a 28km, 24 stop route around the city highlighting the best attractions along the way. The full circuit takes around 1 1/2 hours to complete, however, once you have bought your ticket you can alight and re-board anywhere you see the distinctive red explorer stops at any time throughout the same day.
The Bondi & Bay Explorer
The Blue Bondi & Bay Explorer Service departs from Circular Quay at 25-minute intervals from 9.15am, with the last round-trip service departing Circular Quay at 4.20pm. After travelling through some of Sydney's most exclusive residential areas, the tours take in some of Sydney's most spectacular coastline and beaches. Th trip operates every day along the 30km, 18 stop circuit taking 1 1/2 hours to complete the full journey.
Fares
Both Explorer bus services offer one and two day fare options. The one day ticket costs around $30 for adults, $15 for children and $75 for a family. The two day ticket allows you to travel on either or both services on any two days over a seven day period. Both fare options entitle ticket holders to travel on normal blue & white bus services that operate along the same routes.
